Why We Chose Scientific Evaluation for ArthroHill Capsule

Why We Chose Scientific Evaluation — ArthroHill Capsule clinical journey

Why We Chose Scientific Evaluation

When Herbal Hills decided to scientifically evaluate ArthroHill Capsule, the objective was never to prove that Ayurveda works.

Ayurveda has stood the test of time for thousands of years through classical knowledge and generations of clinical practice.

Our objective was much more practical.

We wanted to objectively document how a carefully developed Ayurvedic formulation performs in patients suffering from osteoarthritis using recognised clinical assessment methods.

Simply saying that a product is "effective" is no longer sufficient in today's healthcare environment.

Doctors increasingly look for measurable outcomes.

Patients seek greater transparency.

Healthcare institutions value documented evidence.

For this reason, we chose to evaluate ArthroHill Capsule through structured clinical studies rather than relying only on physician observations or patient testimonials.

A Scientific Approach to an Ayurvedic Formulation

The clinical evaluation of ArthroHill Capsule was designed to answer questions that practising doctors encounter every day.

  • Does the patient experience meaningful relief from joint pain?
  • Does morning stiffness improve?
  • Can the patient walk more comfortably?
  • Does physical function improve?
  • Does the patient's quality of life improve?
  • Is the formulation well tolerated during continued use?

Instead of depending upon a single symptom, the studies evaluated multiple aspects of osteoarthritis that directly influence the patient's daily life.

This reflects both good clinical practice and the holistic philosophy of Ayurveda, where the goal is not only symptom management but also improvement in overall function and quality of life.

The ArthroHill Evidence Journey — from classical Ayurveda to evidence-informed practice

Why Two Clinical Studies?

One study rarely answers every clinical question.

To obtain a broader understanding, ArthroHill Capsule was evaluated through two separate clinical studies.

Study One – Early Clinical Evaluation

The initial 21-day clinical study was undertaken to evaluate early clinical improvements in patients with osteoarthritis using recognised outcome measures.

The encouraging observations from this study provided the confidence to explore the formulation further.

Study Two – Extended Clinical Evaluation

Recognising that osteoarthritis is a chronic condition requiring long-term management, Herbal Hills subsequently supported a 90-day Clinical Trials Registry–India (CTRI) registered study.

A longer evaluation period allowed researchers to observe not only pain relief but also changes in joint stiffness, physical function, walking ability, quality of life, rescue medication use, and overall safety.

Together, these two studies provide complementary clinical information, offering both early and longer-term observations.

Why Were Two Studies Conducted — 21-day early evaluation and 90-day extended evaluation

Building Confidence Through Documentation

At Herbal Hills, we believe that responsible healthcare should be supported by both traditional knowledge and scientific documentation.

Clinical evaluation does not replace Ayurvedic principles.

Rather, it provides an additional level of confidence for physicians who wish to integrate evidence into their daily practice.

For dispensing doctors, documented clinical evaluation can support more informed discussions with patients who increasingly ask:

  • Has this formulation been evaluated?
  • What outcomes were measured?
  • Is there published scientific information?
  • Has safety also been assessed?

These are important questions, and they deserve evidence-based answers.

Why This Matters — clinical evaluation complements physician judgement
